JDS HOMETRAINING implements diverse exercise routines so that you will  never get bored. We literally keep you on your toes with a vast array of stability, balance and functional exercise routines. YOU WILL LEARN SOMETHING NEW every session with JDS HOMETRAINING which will help you live healthier and function properly. 

Functional training is an extremely effective method of training. This entails training your body in a similar manner in which you need it to function for your specific daily routine. This method of training balances the body and makes sure the body functions properly avoiding and eliminating pain. 

For example: If you are an avid tennis player you will need to have balance, quickness and agility along with strong ankle, knee and hip joints. But overall strength comes from your core so lots of core training will be implemented. Ladder and cone drills, stability ball training and single leg movements are just some of the exciting exercises that would be a part of your regiment.

If the core does not function properly the disks in your spine are at great risk of deterioration and the joints in your body will eventually experience pain. JDS Hometraining will ensure that you stay healthy, function properly and feel great while achieving your fitness goals.

Jason Scrofani is a Nationally Certified personal trainer and the owner of JDS Hometraining- an in-home personal training company. He founded JDS Hometraining in 2003 in an effort to bring all of the necessary equipment and motivation to the client’s home.

Jason also co-founded Fitness For All inc. in 2006. Fitness for All is a children’s fitness program designed to teach children the importance of exercise, proper diet and living a healthy lifestyle in schools, after school programs and in-home.

Prior to starting his business Jason worked as a personal trainer and then senior trainer (head of personal trainers) at New York Sports Clubs White Plains. It was at NYSC where he got his start and knowledge base.

Jason has specialty certifications in Pre and Postnatal fitness, elderly fitness training, children’s fitness and Holistic lifestyle coaching. He is a Certified C.H.E.K. Exercise Coach and Holistic Lifestyle Coach.

His belief is that you should exercise the body the way you need it to be used on a daily basis, also known as functional training.

Jason teaches his clients that “you are indeed what you eat” and “everything is connected”.
